Arshad Syed

Arshad Syed has actively participated in the Global IN build out since 1986. He has held many key positions with Tandem Computers (now part of HP) from 1986 to 1995, overseeing Tandem's AIN product suite's evolution, development and deployment. Mr. Syed played a key role in re-positioning Tandem's AIN product line to meet the needs of the rapidly growing worldwide Wireless telephony industry.

In late 1995 Mr. Syed co-founded Intelligent Object Solutions, Inc. (IOS) to help the wireless industry address the cellular fraud problem. IOS successfully launched multiple products in the cellular fraud prevention and detection arena in less than a year from its inception. IOS was subsequently sold and re-sold and is now part of Visa.

Mr. Syed has been the chief executive of Integrated Telecom Solutions, Inc. (ITS) since its inception in September 1996. Under his leadership ITS has grown from a start-up to a steadily growing business with its Wireless Solutions deployed at over two dozen key wireless service providers around the world including AT&T Mobility, Rogers Wireless, Telefonica O2, and Zain.Mr. Syed has served on the board of many IEEE committees. He continues to serve on the board of many industry, community service, and charitable organizations. He earned a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Mr. Syed holds multiple patents and has published many industry papers over the years.
