Ayman ElNashar

Dr. Elnashar holds B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Electrical Communications Engineering. He has more than 14 years of professional experience in Telecoms industry including GSM, GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA+/LTE, WiMAX, WiFi, and transport technologies with highly esteemed organizations in MENA region. Currently, he is Sr. Director of Wireless Broadband and Site Sharing with the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co. “du“, UAE. He is in charge of Mobile and Fixed Wireless broadband networks and technology sharing. Before joining du, Dr. Elnashar was with Mobily, Saudi Arabia, from June 2005 to Jan 2008 and with MobiNil, Egypt, from March 2000 to June 2005. He obtained his PHD degree in multiuser interference cancellation and smart antennas. He published 18 papers in wireless communications arena in highly tanked journals and international conferences. He has managed several large-scale networks and mega projects with approximate capital of one billion USD including networks start-up, networks expansion, and swap projects.
