Ekow Nelson

Ekow is a telecoms and media industry professional with over 20 years’ experience in business development, sales, industry strategy and solutions development / implementation in over 30 countries.

Currently client executive in telecommunications he also leads IBM’s Business Analytics solutions for Telecom in Middle-East and Africa. Prior to this, he was strategic thought leader for the Communications Sector at IBM’s Institute for Business Value and held a variety of consulting roles in IBM Global Business Services.

He joined Coopers & Lybrand and later PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1997 as a management consultant and helped establish PwC’s global mobile business practice.

He has a keen interest in communciations industry business models and has several publications in telecommunications and media to his name.
