Nick Jotischky

Nick Jotischky is a Principal Analyst with Informa Telecoms & Media. He is responsible for research on Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific with a key focus on understanding the local trends in these markets. In his role Nick monitors closely evolving mobile operator strategies and how these shape the dynamics of these diverse regions, the potential for current and future investment plans, and the launch of new products and services.

He is a frequent speaker and chair at international conferences, as well as a regular press commentator, and travels often across the region. His recent research interests include rural connectivity in Africa, evolving mobile data services and new market entry strategies.

Nick joined Informa Telecoms & Media in 2008 as a Principal Analyst. Prior to that he was a Senior Analyst with the boutique consultancy, Kable, where he advised a wide range of ICT suppliers on the potential for their business development in the public sector analysing the growth in ICT usage within the public sector. Nick has also worked at specialist emerging market information provider Business Monitor International, where he headed up the telecoms practice.

Nick holds a BA Hons degree in history and a legal practice qualification.
