Olivier Taffin

Olivier Taffin is currently Wireless Business Director for Middle East and Africa at Alcatel-Lucent.

He began his career in France as RF R&D engineer and joined Lucent Technologies R&D in 1998 to develop radio modules for wireless transmission systems.

In 2000, Olivier joined Pre-Sales organization and he was successively broadband wireless technical sales support manager, mobile pre-sales team manager and technical account director with a focus on Western European telecom market.

Beginning of 2009, he moved to Middle East and Africa and he is now located in Abu Dhabi. He is currently engaged with telecom service providers to propose 2G/3G and 4G radio access solution to meet the network and business challenges occurring today in the region.
