Robert Wakeling

Robert Wakeling is founder and chief executive officer of Wadaro and has been a telecommunications professional for over ten years. Robert started Wadaro five years ago to develop and market TAP, an innovative network experience monitoring solution that crowd sources data from subscriber SIM cards for reporting to MNOs and MVNOs.

The idea for TAP arises from Robert’s comprehensive understanding of mobile terminals and his belief that the best place to measure an individual subscriber’s experience of mobile network service is from with their handset.

Wadaro and Morpho (Safran group) entered into a strategic partnership in 2009 to jointly promote TAP to MNOs and MVNO globally. Together, Morpho and Wadaro have brought to market an effective solution to the commonplace problem of measuring mobile service quality which leverages on Morpho’s SIM card technology and Wadaro TAP Essential.

Prior to Wadaro, Robert was CTO at Magic4, a company that developed and marketed 3rd party messaging enabler Software for terminal vendors.  Much of the product Robert’s team built can still be found in devices today.

Robert has a Bachelors Degree from the University of York."
