Saeed Al Zarouni

Mr. Saeed Yousif Al Zarouni is currently working in the capacity of Senior Vice President/Mobile Network of Etisalat’s Central Engineering Department. He is responsible for formulating short and long term plans for the development of Mobile Networks, 2G, 3G and 4G. He oversees planning, prioritization and assignment of objectives and tasks to the entire Mobile Network Development section. Mr. Zarouni is also responsible for reviewing allocation/utilization of resources and performance quality.

Mr. Al Zarouni joined Etisalat (U.A.E) in 2005 as a Chief Engineer/Mobile System Operations & Maintenance, responsible for overseeing activities of new feature(s) study and optimum capacity planning for the Mobile Network Development.

He then became a Manager for the Mobile Access Network Development in 2006, in charge of supervising planning, prioritization and assignment of targets and tasks to entire Mobile Access Network Development. Later on, in January 2007, he was promoted as Director.

He then moved to oversee the evaluation, design and planning of the rollout of the Mobile Access and Core Network in AUH and entire UAE, including both technical and capacity aspects, as the Vice President for Mobile Network Planning in October 2007.

Mr. Al Zarouni has been active member in supporting Etisalat’s supporting international project operations with respect to design and development of Mobile Networks.
