Vikram Shanbhag

Mr. Shanbhag leads the Mobile Messaging Solutions SBU at Comviva, a global leader in delivery of integrated VAS solutions. In his 21 years of career in Telecoms and IT domains Mr. Shanbhag has been instrumental in conceptualizing, developing and deploying solutions for the Telecoms market in the OSS, BSS, and VAS areas working with organizations such as AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Trilogy and Covansys. Mr. Shanbhag has partnered with telecom operators in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions to deploy revenue generating services in fixed and mobile networks. His current focus at Comviva is in delivering robust VAS platforms and innovative VAS solutions to mobile subscribers in the emerging markets.

Mr. Shanbhag holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Pune (India) and University of Akron (U.S.A.) respectively, and a MBA from the Ohio State University (U.S.A.). He has also completed executive education courses at ISB (India) and INSEAD (Singapore).
